Websites that look custom‑built. Because they are.

No themes. No page builders. No template with your logo dropped in the corner. Every site on this page was drawn from a blank page for the business it belongs to — for trades, clinics and local service businesses across Ontario. One-off to build, then a monthly that keeps it running.

JW Drywall & Framing — live at jwdrywall.ca

Ten businesses. Ten designs. No template.

The ten below are spec builds — I made them for real Ontario businesses that never asked, to show what drawn-from-scratch actually looks like across trades that share nothing. Nobody paid for one and none of them is a client. They’re all live; open any of them.

A template can be spotted from the parking lot.

Most cheap sites are one layout with the colours swapped. Your customer has seen it four times this week, and it quietly tells them you bought the same thing everybody else bought. A site drawn for your business does the opposite job — it makes you look like the established outfit in your area, which is the only thing anyone is checking when they Google you before they call.

  • Drawn, not filled in

Your layout, your typography, your colours — decided for your trade, not inherited from a theme.

  • Built to be found

Clean markup, fast pages, and the local-search groundwork done properly at launch.

  • One person, start to finish

You deal with me. No account manager, no ticket queue, no handover to somebody who wasn't there.

  • Yours to keep

The domain is in your name from day one, and nothing about the site is locked to me.

Who it’s built for

  • Drywall & framing
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Landscaping
  • Decks & fencing
  • Concrete
  • Tree service
  • Junk removal
  • Chiropractic
  • Physio & massage
  • Salons & studios
  • Cleaning

Paying clients, live right now.

Two Ontario businesses who bought the thing on this page. Not mockups and not concepts — open them and check.

Pay to build it. Then pay to keep it working.

Two separate things, so you never buy one to get the other. The build is a one-off and its price depends on how many pages you want. The monthly keeps the site running — and decides whether anyone works on getting you found.

The build

One-off · designed from a blank page · live in about a week

One-page site
$150
One page done properly. Most local businesses never need more than this.
Three-page site
$595
Your homepage plus two more — services, about, a gallery, wherever you need them — designed together as one thing.
Each page beyond that
+$250
Cheaper in the build than added afterwards, because it reuses the design already being made for you.

Rather own it outright? $995 covers a one-page build plus your first year of domain and hosting, then $49 a month to keep it online. Extra pages are the same +$250 either way.

Then pick how hard we work on getting you found.

Same site either way, and the build above costs the same on both. The only difference is whether the Google work happens once or every month.

Custom — for the things a plan doesn’t cover

Multi-page and multi-location sites, online booking, e-commerce, client portals, quote tools and internal systems. Scoped on a call and priced before anything starts, through MCH Projects.

Stop whenever you like and nothing is held hostage — the domain goes with you, and after twelve months on either plan the site is yours to take anywhere. Pay the $995 up front and it’s yours from launch.

Four steps, and you do one of them.

The seven-day clock starts when your checklist comes back, not when you sign up. Send it the same day and you can be live inside the week.

  1. 1

    Say hello

Tell me what you do and where. You get a same-day reply with examples and a start link — no deck, no discovery call unless you want one.

  2. 2

    Send the basics

Fifteen minutes: photos, services, contact details. If you haven't got photos I'll build from your Google profile and Facebook.

  3. 3

    See the draft

Drawn for your business from a blank page. You get one round of changes included, and I'd rather you used it.

  4. 4

    Go live

About a week after your checklist lands. Domain, hosting, quote form, analytics — all working before it goes public.

Straight answers.

The same ones you’d get on the phone. If something here isn’t covered, ask and I’ll tell you plainly.

Who owns the site and the domain?

The domain is registered in your name from day one — it's yours whatever happens. On a monthly plan the site itself becomes yours after twelve months; cancel before that and the site comes down, but the domain still goes with you. Pay the $995 up front and the whole thing is yours from launch.

Am I signing a contract?

No. Both plans are month to month and you can stop whenever. Nothing rolls over and nothing gets held hostage.

What does “custom, not a theme” actually mean?

Every site is designed from a blank page for the business it belongs to. No purchased themes, no page builders, no template with your logo dropped in the corner. A plumber's site shouldn't look like a chiropractor's, and on this page you can scroll through a dozen proofs that they don't.

How quickly will I be live?

About seven days from your checklist coming back — not from the day you sign up. Send your details the same day and you can be live inside a week.

What's the difference between basic and advanced SEO?

Once versus ongoing. Basic is the groundwork, done properly at launch and then finished: your titles and descriptions written for what people actually type, Analytics and Search Console connected, your business details consistent everywhere, the site indexed and fast. Advanced is somebody actually working on it every month after that — changes made to the site off the back of real search data, listings kept straight, Search Console and your Google Business Profile insights read, and a report telling you what moved. Basic gets you findable. Advanced is what moves you up, slowly, over months.

Do pages cost extra on top of the monthly?

Pages are part of the build, not the plan — a one-off cost, paid once. A one-page site is $150 to build, three pages is $595, and each page past that is $250 while it's being built. Adding a page later is $295 because it's more work to fit into a finished site. Whichever plan you're on doesn't change any of those numbers.

On Grow, do you do the Google work or just tell me what to do?

Both, split down a clear line. The work on your website and your directory listings is mine — I make those changes, you don't. Your Google Business Profile is the exception: I read what it's telling you each month and hand you the short list worth acting on, but the posts and the review replies stay with you. They're your voice, and they need to go up the day the job finishes, not whenever I next sit down with your account. If you'd rather hand that over entirely, say so and we'll price it — it's a real job, not a checkbox.

How long before the Google work shows up?

Three to six months before rankings move in any way worth talking about, and anybody promising faster is guessing. The monthly report tells you what moved and what didn't, including the months where the honest answer is nothing yet.

What if I need more than a website?

Multi-page and multi-location sites, online booking, e-commerce, client portals and the bigger internal systems get scoped and quoted on a call — that's the Custom route, and it runs through MCH Projects. If what you need turns out to be small, I'll tell you that instead of selling you a project.

Next time somebody Googles you, look like the one to call.

Tell me what you do and where. You’ll get a reply the same day with a couple of examples and a start link — or take fifteen minutes on a call first if you’d rather talk it through.
